Boomerang is a hip, cool, coffee house in downtown Vancouver that also features a consignment store, kids play spaces, and events. Their mission is “to inspire our local community to give back… believing generosity returns!” To this end, they partner with local charities, and Columbia Springs is honored to be one of their charity partners! You can join the fun by drinking coffee (10% from the sale of coffee drinks June 6-11 will be given to Columbia Springs), donating items to their consignment store (helping you clean, reduce, reuse, and recycle and earning 50% of your items’ sale prices for Columbia Springs), or by joining us from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 10th for a fun “Discovery Event” at Boomerang. There will be live music, and Erik and I will have games and displays about local native plants and ecology, as well as samples of local “wild” foods. And get this, the event is FREE!
