ReWrap returns – just in time for the holiday season.
In the past, we’ve sewn bags for the ReWrap program during the Night Market and Holiday Farmer’s Market, then during the pandemic, we partnered with Meals on Wheels. We’ve sewn and donated over 3,000 bags in our first 4 years! This year, we’ll be partnering with Clark County Food Bank. Can you help us bring them some holiday cheer?
What: Sewing reusable fabric wrapping bags
When: Now until December 8th
How: You are welcome to use your own fabric and/or pick up a fabric pack/t-shirt yarn for the ties from us.
How do I get fabric/drop off bags?
Fabric packs can be picked up and finished bags dropped off Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Columbia Springs.
How big should the bags be?
The size of the bags can vary and we’d love to use up old, unwanted fabric (think a tree skirt or holiday tablecloth that has a stain, rip or tear.) The bags should be at least 12” in width and length, finished size. They do not need fancy elements such as gusseted bottoms or drawstring closings, unless you’d like to make them that way! (In the past, because we were working a shift at a market, we created very simple bags with ribbon sewn in the upper corner of the seam so you can tie off the bag.)
