Calming forest yoga at Columbia Springs

Sunset Forest Yoga at Columbia Springs – October 22nd at 6:00 pm

Looking to get back in touch with nature this fall? Join us for Sunset Forest Yoga at Columbia Springs with local yogi Alison Wesley from Movement at Work. In this beginning level class, we will move into gentle shapes that help us see ourselves and the world more clearly. For the low price of $15 per person you don’t want to miss it! Reserve your spot here.

We will meet at Columbia Springs on the lawn behind the Heron House. Please bring whatever props you use during your normal practice! Contact kylie@columbiasprings.org with questions.

Get into gardening! Hydrangea giveaway at Columbia Springs

Spring is almost upon us! Come visit the Columbia Springs public parking lot on March 19th/20th and pick up some FREE hydrangea cuttings to plant in your yard or garden. This event will only be staffed from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm each day, but cuttings will still be available to grab until 4:00 pm for those who can’t make it earlier. Masks and social distancing required at all times.

Are you a handy person? Hand Tools and How to Use Them

Are you a handy person? Whether you are a beginner or an expert at fixing things around the house, our hand tools workshop is for you!

Join us to learn about many common hand tools from the comfort of your own home. In this class, you will learn the “nuts and bolts” of screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, hammers, saws, measuring tools – and yes, even nuts and bolts! (and screws and nails.) Though it is designed to be a comprehensive primer of many hand tools perfect for beginners, this workshop has tips and tricks that will be useful even to seasoned pros.

Join us to talk all things beaver with some local experts. This is a four part series, we hope to see you (virtually) every Thursday in June!
